This 3-hour recorded training will describe social stories and how this tool can be used in play therapy work, especially with neurodivergent children and adolescents. Understanding the purpose and construction of a social story will be explored. Additionally, participants will learn how a social story can be used to address therapy goals and how social stories can be integrated into child and play therapy theory and approach. Several sample social stories will be provided.
